texas style chili

    * 1 lb ground pork
    * 1 lb ground beef
    * 1 lb optional (beef, venison, lamb)
    * 1 large diced onion

    * 3 fresh jalepeno diced | or 1 can hot diced chilis
    * 2 cans cambel pork n' beans | or 3 tsp brown sugar

    * 2 tsp chicken bouillon
    * 2 tsp beef bouillon
    * 1 packet Goya Sazon Flavor Packet cilantro
    * 2 tbs cumin
    * 4 tbs chili powder
    * 1 tsp black pepper
    * 2-4 cups of low sodium chicken broth
    * 1 can tomato paste

brown meat in dutch oven.
sweat the onion
add spices

start with enough chicken broth to cover and only 1/4 tomato paste.
simmer 45 mins or longer. add chicken broth if it starts to get too thick.
adjust thickness at end with tomato paste or chicken broth

fancy stuff-
add half of each spice when starting then the other half at end. up the chili powder and grind toast / grind fresh.
